Background Checks:
I have not received a background check email:
Emails come from our background check partner, Sterling, at: no-reply@us.sterlingcheck.app. Please check your spam folder and add the email to your safe sender list to receive updates.
How long until my background check is cleared:
Most background checks are completed within 10 minutes, but may take up to 24 hours. In rare cases (Holidays, high volume or other unforeseen event) it may take longer.
My background check is completed but I am still blocked in the app:
On your profile settings page click the “check status” button. If completed, this should allow you to apply for jobs. If you are still experiencing issues clearing the status please let us know and we can help.
Tag Line Error When Creating Profile:
We are experiencing a bug on our create profile form. To fix, force quit the app and reopen. This will bring you to the start of the provider form. Enter a short tag line, for example, “Our Village Provider”. Your tag line can be updated later.
“Unidentified Error” When Creating a Job Post:
If you experience an “unidentified error” at any time, log out of the app and log back in. This resolves the error in most cases.
Not Receiving Notifications:
If you are not receiving notifications, log out of the app and log back in. We are currently working to improve our notification system.
