During our Early Access period, get paid directly and keep 100% of what you earn. All we ask is that you rate the seeker and job in the app.

About Our Village
Founded by Arlington native and mom of three, Randa Bedair, Our Village is the gig platform that allows you to offer more than just babysitting.
We’re on a mission to help families across the DFW. Parents need more than occasional childcare, and providers on Our Village offer a range of services to fit those needs.
From creating balloon arches and cakes for birthday parties to toy-room organizers, pet sitters to after school transportation, lactation specialists to someone who can build a playset in your backyard.
Our Village offers it all.
FAQs
What are the fees to use?
Our Village is a brand new platform with the goal of supporting people in the Dallas-Forth Worth area.
During our launch phase there are no fees to use our app.
Providers are required to complete a background check to offer services on the app. Basic background checks are $12 and enhanced (for transportation services) are an additional $20. 100% of these fees are paid to our background check processor and are non-refundable.
If you have completed a background check in the last 12 months, email us at helpdesk@ourvillageapp.org with proof of completion and we will waive your background check requirement.
Pricing for Our Village, including fees and background check costs, are subject to change.
How do I get paid?
During our launch phase, providers pay you directly via your preferred payment method.
After our introductory phase we will be moving to in-app payments that will give you benefits such as:
